Available Treatments

Our jute fabrics can undergo various treatments to better suit any project, including:

• Dyeing (from 280 g/m² onwards) – We offer a wide range of colors and can dye in any shade.
• Screen printing – Printing in one or more colors. We can print any logo or design on our fabrics (only for weights above 280 g/m² and with a minimum quantity).
• Carding – Softens and aligns the fibers, removing impurities and irregularities.
• Ironing – Burlap fabric is pre-ironed by default, but we offer additional steam ironing for a smoother finish.
• Burnishing – Removes excess fibers, giving the fabric extra softness and a refined look.
• Water-repellent treatment – Adds a coating that repels liquids.
• Fireproofing – Makes the fabric less flammable and reduces flame spread.
• Calendering – Uses heat and pressure to transfer sublimation inks onto the fabric, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting colors.
• Softening – Reduces the natural stiffness of the fibers, making the fabric more flexible and pleasant to the touch. Ideal for home décor, upholstery, and textiles.
• Washing – Removes impurities, dust, and natural residues left after production, making the fabric more uniform and comfortable to handle.
• Embroidery – Decorative stitching for a personalized and elegant finish. Perfect for fashion, decoration, and custom products.
• Sizing – Provides stiffness and structure to the fabric, ideal for applications that require more stability, such as upholstery, curtains, and decorative elements.
• Gluing – Applies a layer of glue or rubber to reinforce the structure and reduce fraying, useful for industrial and craft applications.
• Stretching – A stabilization process using heat and tension to reduce shrinkage and improve dimensional stability.
• Folding – Allows the jute to be folded into specific sections for easier handling and transportation.
• Printing – Application of patterns or designs using special inks, offering customization without altering the fabric’s natural appearance.
• Oxygenation or oiling – Improves softness and reduces any natural odors from the fibers, giving a more uniform appearance.
