Available Treatments

Our jute fabrics can undergo various treatments to better suit any project, including:

  • Dyeing (from 280 g/m²): Available in a wide range of colors, with the possibility of dyeing in any shade.
  • Screen Printing: Single or multi-color printing. We can print any type of logo or design on our fabrics (only for weights over 280 g/m² and with a minimum order quantity).
  • Carding: A process that softens, aligns, and cleans the fibers, removing impurities or irregularities.
  • Ironing: Jute fabric comes pre-ironed by default, but we offer an additional steam treatment to remove any wrinkles.
  • Singeing: Removes excess fibers from the fabric, giving it extra softness and an attractive finish.
  • Waterproofing or Hydrofuge Treatment: Provides a finish that repels liquids.
  • Flame Retardant Treatment: Reduces the fabric’s flammability and prevents the spread of flames.
  • Calendering: A heat and pressure printing process to transfer sublimation inks to the fabric, ensuring vibrant and long-lasting colors.
  • Softening: Reduces the natural stiffness of the fibers, making the fabric more flexible and pleasant to the touch. Ideal for decoration, upholstery, and home textiles.
  • Washing: Cleans and smooths the fibers, removing dust, impurities, and natural production residues, enhancing the fabric’s texture and uniformity.
  • Embroidery: Allows the application of personalized designs with decorative thread, adding an artisan and sophisticated touch.
  • Starching: A treatment that gives the fabric more structure and stability, making it ideal for uses requiring a more rigid material, such as footwear soles, curtains, upholstery, and decorative items.
  • Gumming: Involves applying a layer of adhesive or rubber to strengthen the fibers and reduce fraying. This treatment is ideal for industrial and craft applications, providing greater durability and easier handling.
  • Tentering: A process where the jute fabric is stretched and stabilized using heat and tension, helping maintain its shape and reducing shrinkage.
  • Folding: Pre-folding sections to facilitate handling and transport, preventing damage during storage.
  • Printing: The application of patterns or designs using specialized inks, allowing for customization while maintaining the natural character of the fabric.
  • Oxygenation or Oiling: Improves the softness of jute and reduces its natural odor, giving the fabric a more uniform appearance and better handling qualities.
  • Laminating: A protective layer of plastic or paper is applied to make the fabric more water-resistant and durable, ideal for outdoor use or packaging.
  • Paper Application: A paper layer is attached to the jute fabric to add stiffness, making it suitable for stationery, decoration, and crafts.
  • Antibacterial Treatment: Prevents the growth of bacteria, making it ideal for products that come into contact with people or food.
  • Anti-Static Treatment: Reduces static electricity buildup in the fibers, making the fabric more comfortable for daily use.
  • Fragrance Treatment: Adds a light and pleasant scent to the jute, enhancing the sensory experience for those handling the material. This finish is ideal for decoration and packaging products that seek a unique and pleasant touch.
  • Bagging: The jute fabric is wrapped and packaged in protective bags to ensure its safety during transport and storage.

These treatments guarantee a high-quality and functional finish while maintaining our commitment to sustainability.
