Jute is a 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable and recyclable fibre.
100% environmentally friendly, biodegradable and recyclable. A hectare of jute plants consumes about 15 tonnes of carbon dioxide and releases 11 tonnes of oxygen. A plant that actively and passively improves the environment.
This versatile fibre may be used in combination with other fibres or materials. Given its biodegradable nature, it helps the control of soil erosion. Used as geotextiles, it even makes reforestation possible.
The following characteristics are among the advantages: a good insulating and antistatic properties, a low thermal conductivity, a moderate moisture retention, a low extensibility and a high tensile strength ensure better breathability.
