Description
Our black-dyed jute textile piece, with a weight of 280 g/m² and a width of 145 cm, combines the elegance and versatility of this classic tone with the sustainability of jute. This fabric is perfect for projects seeking a timeless and sophisticated style.
Black, known as the visual perception of maximum darkness due to the absence of light, evokes unparalleled depth. This color resembles the intensity of charcoal and is loaded with symbolism: it represents mystery, elegance, strength, and, in certain cultures, sensuality. Its distinctive character makes it a popular choice for decoration, artistic applications, and functional uses.
At Deyute, we offer a wide range of colored jute fabrics designed to suit any project you have in mind.
Available Treatments
Our jute fabrics can undergo various treatments to better adapt to any project, including:
- Dyeing (from 280 g/m²) – Wide range of colors available, with the ability to dye in any shade.
- Screen Printing – One-color, two-color, or multicolor printing. We can print any type of logo or design on our fabrics (only for weights over 280 g/m² and with a minimum order quantity).
- Carding – Softens and aligns the fibers while removing impurities or irregularities.
- Ironing – Jute fabric comes pre-ironed by default, but we offer additional steam ironing for an even smoother finish.
- Singeing – Removes excess fibers, giving the fabric a softer touch and a more polished appearance.
- Waterproofing or Impregnation – Gives the fabric a liquid-repellent finish.
- Flame Retardant Treatment – Reduces fabric flammability and prevents flame spread.
- Calendering – A heat and pressure printing process that transfers sublimation inks to the fabric, ensuring vibrant and durable colors.
- Softening – Reduces the natural stiffness of fibers, making the fabric more flexible and pleasant to the touch. This is ideal for decoration, upholstery, and home textiles.
- Washing – Helps clean and soften fibers by removing impurities, dust, and natural residues left after production. It results in a more uniform and attractive appearance while preserving its natural aesthetic.
- Embroidery – Decorative embroidery for a personalized touch and artistic detailing, ideal for fashion, decoration, and custom products.
- Starching – Strengthens the fabric and gives it more structure, making it ideal for applications requiring a firmer material, such as shoe soles, curtains, upholstery, and decorative items.
- Gumming – A layer of glue or gum is applied to reinforce the structure and reduce fraying, perfect for industrial applications and crafts.
- Framing – A heating and stretching process that stabilizes the fabric and prevents shrinkage, ensuring better dimensional stability, especially for precision applications like tailoring and upholstery.
- Folding – The jute is pleated or folded into specific sections for easier handling and storage, preventing damage and facilitating transport.
- Printing – Allows patterns or designs to be applied using specialized inks, offering customization and style while preserving the fabric’s natural character.
- Oxygenation or Greasing – Treats the fabric with oxygen or specific oils to improve softness and reduce any natural fiber odors, resulting in a more uniform and appealing fabric.
- Laminating – Adds a protective layer (plastic or paper) to the jute, increasing durability and making it water-resistant. Ideal for outdoor applications and packaging requiring extra protection.
- Paper Application – A layer of paper is adhered to the jute, combining its texture with the practicality of paper. This finish enhances stiffness, making it useful for creative applications in stationery, decoration, and crafts.
- Antibacterial Treatment – Prevents bacterial growth on the fabric, making it ideal for products in contact with people or food, ensuring hygiene and longer-lasting freshness.
- Anti-Static Treatment – Reduces static electricity buildup in jute fibers, useful for industrial applications and environments where static charge accumulation can be problematic.
- Aromatization – Adds a light, pleasant fragrance to the jute, enhancing the sensory experience of those handling it. Ideal for decorative items and packaging seeking a distinctive and enjoyable touch.
- Bagging – The jute is wrapped and packaged in bags, ensuring its protection during transport and storage. This keeps the fabric in optimal condition until use and facilitates organization and distribution.
These treatments guarantee a high-quality and functional finish while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.
