Navy blue got its name from the dark blue worn by officers in the British Royal Navy and subsequently adopted by other navies around the world. Initially called “marine blue”, the name of the colour changed to Navy blue, taken the usual color of the uniforms of sailors.

Blue is the colour of the sky, ocean, sleep, twilight.The ancient Egyptians used lapis lazuli to represent heaven. Dark blue is the colour of truth and moderation. In decoration, blue has the particularity to be very elegant and gives a touch of freshness.
