Available Treatments

Our jute fabrics can undergo various treatments to better suit any project, including:

• Dyeing (from 280 g/m²): Available in a wide range of colors, with custom dyeing options.
• Screen Printing: One-color, two-color, or multi-color printing available. We can print any logo or design on our fabrics (only for weights over 280 g/m² and with a minimum order quantity).
• Carding: A process that aligns and softens the fibers while removing any impurities or irregularities.
• Ironing: The burlap fabric comes pre-ironed, but an additional steam ironing treatment is available upon request to remove wrinkles.
• Singeing: Removes excess fibers from the fabric, providing extra softness and a more refined appearance.
• Waterproofing or Water-Repellent Treatment: Adds a coating that repels liquids.
• Flame Retardant Treatment: Significantly reduces the fabric’s flammability and prevents flame spread.
• Calendering: Uses heat and pressure to transfer sublimation inks onto the fabric, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting colors.
• Softening: This treatment reduces the natural stiffness of jute fibers, making the fabric more flexible and pleasant to the touch. Ideal for home textiles, upholstery, and decorative applications.
• Washing: Cleans and softens the fibers, removing impurities, dust, and natural residues left over from production. This process makes the fabric more manageable, achieving a more uniform and attractive tone while preserving its authentic look.
• Embroidery: Decorative stitching applied to jute fabric, adding custom details and a handcrafted touch. Ideal for fashion, home decor, and personalized products.
• Stiffening: Provides rigidity and structure to the fabric, making it ideal for applications that require a more solid material, such as shoe soles, curtains, upholstery, and decorative elements.
• Gumming: A layer of glue or gum is applied to the fibers to reinforce the structure and reduce fraying. Perfect for industrial applications and crafts.
• Heat Setting (Rameuse): A process that applies heat and tension to align the fibers, helping maintain the fabric’s shape and reducing shrinkage.

• Antibacterial Treatment: Prevents bacterial growth on the fabric, making it ideal for products that come into contact with people or food.
